Service Policies
Georgia Sanitation is committed to providing EXCELLENT service, SAFE, reliable and responsible drivers at a competitive price. Containers should be placed at the curb the evening before your scheduled pick-up days.

Most household garbage items will be accepted; however, we cannot accept certain items including but not limited to: paint, tires, gasoline cans, motor oil, batteries and other hazardous materials. Please call us if you have any large or unusual items.

Yard waste must be placed in bio-degradable paper bags or in easily picked up bundles. We will accept reasonable amounts of yard waste each week and will always work with you – our customer – to come to an acceptable agreement. While we will not restrict you to a fixed volume of waste, please keep in mind that we may not be able to pick up extreme amounts of yard waste at our regular service price. If you know in advance that you will have an exceptionally large pick-up, please contact us to determine if an additional charge will apply.

House-side service is limited to one 96-gallon container ONLY. Any additional garbage as well as any bagged yard waste should be placed at the curb for regular curb-side pick-up. If you anticipate having more than one container of garbage on a regular basis and desire house-side service, please contact us directly for special pricing.
